All contracts are deemed to include these conditions unless specifically mentioned otherwise.
Webspace is provided on the understanding that services we provide via external companies are provided according to their terms and conditions and we cannot be held responsible for any service withdrawn or not available from these companies for whatever reason.
Bandwidth for websites is provided on the understanding that it will not be excessive, as determined by host providers. Should a site be using excessive bandwidth we reserve the right to charge for additional resources or in extreme cases terminate the agreement to provide webspace and services. In this instance no refunds can be made for supplies and services already provided or paid for.
Domains registered by TCL remain the property of TCL unless 'Domain Owned By Client' is specifically mentioned on the Invoice or transfer letter. A transfer charge or £50 plus any transfer fees due from external NIC sources etc are payable by clients before domain names can be released or transferred. Clients should note that a charge for domain registration has to be paid every year, before the anniversary. Unpaid or late domain registration payments will result in the domain name being lost.
All prices must have VAT added at the current rate unless otherwise stated. VAT invoices will be provided.
Support or website updates are not provided unless specifically mentioned in writing.
Clients who manage their own sites, or have FTP access to their sites must provide their own backups of data on the server.
Mailshots, spam or indecent material must not be stored, sent or passed on any servers operated, leased or maintained by TCL. Websites do not automatically include POP3 mailboxes.
Deposits are not refundable.
All invoices must be paid within 7 days of the invoice date or a monthly charge of 2% will be added to invoices. We also reserve the right to pass on to the client any charges we receive with respect to collecting monies that are owed to us. We reserve the right to charge clients £20 per hour or part of hour for time spent chasing unpaid monies after a first reminder has been sent.
Clients are responsible for making sure TCL have up-to-date contact information for them. TCL accept no responsibility for lapsing items if TCL do not have accurate contact information on file.
All items and information passed to TCL for publication on the internet will become copyright of TCL. Clients are responsible for making sure they own copyright of info passed to TCL. TCL will accept no responsibility for info passed to it but will on request and proof of copyright remove such info that TCL has put on TCL created pages. Clients are responsible for copyright of pages and info that they maintain.
